The staff made a genuine effort to assist with check-in.
My stay was disappointing due to the excessive noise from the wooden floors, which made it hard to sleep. Additionally, the breakfast selection was lacking. there were no fresh options like bread, and it felt unbalanced overall. The overall feel of the hotel seemed worn and underwhelming, failing to meet basic expectations for comfort.

I had a lovely stay at Tafona Do Peregrino in Santiago de Compostela. The hotel is ideally located near the old town, making it easy to reach main attractions. My room was comfortable with a beautiful view and the staff genuinely made me feel welcomed and cared for. They were always ready to help, especially with queries about local sights. I really enjoyed the breakfast. the options were basic but fresh, a good way to start the day. However, I wish there was a bit more variety with hot options available. The heating worked well, but the wooden floors in the building created quite a bit of noise, making it hard to sleep at times. Still, the great service and fantastic location made up for the minor inconveniences.

The location is fantastic, just a five-minute walk to the cathedral and close to the market. Staff members were friendly and attentive, which significantly enhanced the experience. However, the room was quite cramped, and issues with noise from nearby areas made it less comfortable. Breakfast was decent but could benefit from more variety to start the day right. Overall, it's a charming place, but a few adjustments would greatly improve the stay.
